Trust Phone scans your Android device and gives you a clear, honest report — battery health, display, touchscreen, cameras, and more. Real data, not guesses.
Three simple steps. Takes about 5 minutes. You get a full report you can trust.
Open the app and tap Check Device. Trust Phone automatically reads your battery, storage, and device info right away — no setup, no account.
Some tests need your input — swipe the touchscreen, look at each camera, press the buttons, or plug in a cable. Each test has clear, simple instructions.
Every test produces a clear pass/fail result with details. Your full scan report is saved on the device so you can refer to it before any sale or purchase.
Trust Phone checks all the hardware a buyer or seller actually cares about.
Health status, USB charging port test, and wireless charging detection.
Dead pixel detection across 5 full-screen colors — black, red, green, blue, white.
Multi-round swipe test covering every zone — detects dead spots and ghost touches.
Tests every camera — front and rear — with a live preview and image quality check.
Wi-Fi, 4G/5G, Bluetooth, NFC, SIM slots, and eSIM support — all in one screen.
Volume buttons, loudspeaker, earpiece, microphone, vibration, and biometric sensors.
GPS accuracy test, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and ambient light.
RAM usage, memory responsiveness, total and available storage — real numbers, not estimates.
Scan reports are stored only on your device, encrypted with AES-256. No account, no cloud upload, no ads. We use Firebase only to collect anonymous crash reports so we can fix bugs — nothing personal is ever sent.

Trust Phone is developed and maintained by Citvo. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how your data is handled, you can reach us at contact@citvo.com.
When you run a scan, Trust Phone reads hardware information from your device — battery health, storage capacity, sensor availability, camera specs, and test results. This data is saved exclusively on your device in encrypted local storage. It is never uploaded to our servers or any external service.
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance (by Google) to collect anonymous reports when the app crashes or performs unexpectedly. These reports help us identify and fix bugs. They do not contain your name, email, phone number, or scan results. They may include device model, Android version, and app version.
We also use Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used in aggregate — for example, which screens are visited most often. This data is anonymised and not linked to any individual.
Trust Phone requests the following permissions. Each one is used only during its specific test and for no other purpose.
Camera
Used to display a live preview during the camera test — to confirm each lens can open correctly. No photos or videos are captured or saved.
Microphone
Used to record a 5-second audio clip during the microphone test. The recording is played back immediately so you can hear your voice, then deleted. It is never saved to storage or sent anywhere.
Location (GPS)
Used only during the GPS test to check whether the device can obtain a satellite fix. Location is never stored, shared, or used outside of this test screen. You can skip this test entirely.
Bluetooth
Used to check whether Bluetooth hardware is present and can be enabled. No device pairing, scanning for other devices, or data transfer occurs.
Phone state (network type)
Used on Android 12 and below to detect whether your device is on 4G or 5G. No call information, phone number, or personal identifiers are accessed.
Notifications
Requested on Android 13+ to allow us to send occasional notifications about new features and updates. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
Trust Phone uses the following third-party services provided by Google:
These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share any data with other third parties for advertising, analytics, or any other commercial purpose.
Scan reports saved on your device are encrypted using AES-256-GCM via the Android Keystore, with HMAC-SHA256 tamper detection. The encryption key is stored in secure hardware and never leaves your device. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect any data we do process against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
Scan reports are kept on your device until you manually delete them within the app (up to 3 reports). Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Anonymous crash and analytics data collected by Firebase is retained according to Firebase's data retention policy.
Trust Phone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
Since we do not collect personal data directly, most of these rights apply to the anonymous data held by Firebase. You can exercise your rights by contacting us or directly through Google's privacy controls.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Trust Phone after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
